Privacy Policy
Effective September 9, 2026 · Version 2026-09-09
We do not sell your personal information. We use service providers to run ReplyFellow, and explain those disclosures below.
1. Who we are and what this covers
ReplyFellow is operated by Red Seam, Inc., based in Utah, United States (“ReplyFellow,” “we,” “us”). This policy covers replyfellow.com and the ReplyFellow application. For privacy questions or requests, contact replyfellow@redseam.com.
2. Information we collect
- Account information: your email address, username, password hash, session information, and account settings. We store a password hash rather than your plaintext password.
- Your workspace: keywords, saved radars, filters, approved reply examples, voice profiles, drafts or refinements you submit to AI features, and feedback. Some generated results are cached. Not every unsaved draft is retained in our database, but submitting it for AI processing sends it to the relevant provider.
- Public X content: posts, usernames, profile information, quoted posts, and media supplied through our search provider or loaded from external sources.
- Billing information: Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, subscription status, billing periods, and usage allowances. Stripe collects payment details directly; our application does not store your full payment card number or security code.
- Technical and usage information: requests and errors, device/browser information and IP addresses available to our infrastructure, feature activity, AI model and token usage, reported provider costs, and security events. Our admin tools show account-level usage and costs.
- Communications: information you choose to provide when contacting us.
3. How we use information
We use information to provide and personalize the service, find relevant posts, generate rankings and replies, create your voice profile, authenticate accounts, manage subscriptions and limits, troubleshoot, prevent abuse, respond to requests, and meet legal obligations. Your approved examples and profile personalize AI requests; “learning your voice” does not mean we train our own general-purpose AI model on your content.
Where a legal basis is required, we rely on performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where required. You may withdraw consent for optional processing without affecting earlier lawful processing.
4. No sale of personal information; necessary disclosures
We do not sell personal information, provide it to data brokers, or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do disclose information as needed to operate the service:
- Hosting: DigitalOcean hosts the application and database; operational backups may also be held in storage controlled by the operator.
- Payments: Stripe processes checkout, subscriptions, invoices, and billing management. It receives account/billing information and collects payment information under its own privacy policy.
- Search: TwexAPI receives search queries and filters to retrieve public X content. Do not put confidential information in search terms.
- AI: Nous Portal and the model providers it routes requests to receive the material needed for a feature, which may include public posts, keywords, voice profiles, approved examples, feedback, and draft text. Provider routing can change. Their handling, retention, and any model-training use are governed by the applicable provider terms and settings; we do not promise zero retention or no training by every upstream provider.
- External resources: loading fonts, avatars, images, or video from external hosts can disclose your IP address, browser details, and request information to those hosts, including Google Fonts and X/media infrastructure. Opening X or Stripe takes you to services with their own policies.
- Legal and security needs: we may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or valid legal process, investigate fraud or abuse, or protect rights and safety.
We do not authorize recipients to use your private workspace content for unrelated advertising. If the business changes ownership, any transfer of personal information must remain subject to this policy and applicable law; materially different uses require appropriate notice and consent where required.
5. Cookies, local storage, and analytics
We use an essential session cookie to keep you signed in and browser storage for preferences such as your theme. Blocking these may affect functionality. We do not currently use third-party product analytics or advertising trackers. We may introduce analytics to understand page visits, feature usage, performance, and errors. Before enabling analytics, we will update this policy with the provider and relevant choices and obtain consent where required. We will not intentionally send reply text, voice examples, passwords, or payment details to analytics tools. We do not treat this policy as advance consent to optional tracking.
6. Retention and security
We retain account and workspace information while needed to provide the service, maintain security, resolve disputes, or comply with recordkeeping obligations. Retention depends on the type and purpose of the information; there is no single fixed retention period for every record. Deleted information may remain temporarily in backups and provider systems under their retention practices. Billing and security records may be retained when needed after account closure.
We use safeguards such as HTTPS, hashed passwords, access controls, and backups. No service or transmission is completely secure. Please use a unique password and do not submit sensitive personal information, credentials, or confidential material you are not authorized to disclose to our providers.
7. Your choices and rights
You can edit or delete saved interests and voice examples in the app and manage or cancel subscriptions through Billing → Manage billing. To request access, correction, export, account deletion, or restrictions on processing, email replyfellow@redseam.com from your account email. We may verify your identity and will respond as required by applicable law. Please do not send identity documents unless requested through an appropriate method.
Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have additional rights to object, withdraw consent, appeal a decision, or complain to your local data protection authority. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights. There is no sale or advertising sharing to opt out of under our current practices. Canceling billing does not itself delete your account; a deletion request should also specify whether you want the subscription canceled.
8. International processing and age limits
We and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries with different data protection laws. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, those safeguards must be in place. ReplyFellow is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children; contact us if you believe a child has provided information.
9. Changes
We will update the date on this policy when it changes and provide additional notice for material changes as required by law. We will obtain consent where a new use requires it. Questions: replyfellow@redseam.com.
